Marcia Gay Harden, Leonor Watling Join "If I Were You"

Marcia Gay Harden, Leonor Watling and Aidan Quinn have joined the cast of the independent film "If I Were You" for Paragraph Pictures, says The Hollywood Reporter.

According to the Hollywood Reporter: Marcia Gay Harden, Leonor Watling and Aidan Quinn are to play the leads in Joan Carr-Wiggin's "If I Were You" from Paragraph Pictures and FDC Distribution.

The comedy/drama centers on Harden and Watling's characters, two women who form an unlikely bond to repair their lives. David Gordian and Alan Lathamn will produce the film, which also stars Joseph Kell, Michael Therriault, Elizabeth Whitmere, Claire Brosseau and Bethany Jillard.

While the premise sounds simple, it seems as if it will be perfect for an independent film production. Along with veteran actors like Quinn and Harden, this film has a chance to be a critical success.

Carr-Wiggin ("A Previous Engagement") directs the 5-week shoot, which just kicked off in Toronto.
